Incentive travel for your teams and clients, from the lake to the desert
Luxury by the Lake produces incentive travel for Maisons that reward their teams, their retailers or their clients with a few days away. We design the programme, the venues, the activities, the evenings and the logistics on the ground, in Switzerland, in Paris, in Dubai and wherever the Maison wants to take its guests. Transport and accommodation are booked by our licensed travel partner, which we coordinate, so you keep a single point of contact.

Incentive travel in Switzerland: Geneva and the mountains
Switzerland lets a group cross several landscapes in a single trip, by train.
Guests land in Geneva, walk the boutiques of the rue du Rhône and spend the evening in a palace hotel on the quays. In winter, the trip climbs to Gstaad, St Moritz or Crans-Montana, and the Glacier Express links Zermatt and St Moritz across the Alps in a single day.
The Swiss rail network carries groups to each of these places, and we coordinate the carriages, the luggage service and the transfers at both ends with our travel partner; Switzerland Tourism describes each region and its seasons. In the evenings, a dinner in a palace on the lake or a private concert in a chalet ends each day.
The venues in Geneva are on our luxury event planner Geneva page.
Incentive travel Dubai and Paris
Dubai suits a winter trip. From November to March, a group can spend a morning in the galleries of Alserkal Avenue, an afternoon on the water and an evening in a desert camp under the stars. Dubai lies about six and a half hours' flight from Geneva. Our corporate events Dubai page covers the season, the venues and the permits.
Paris suits a trip in any season. Guests can visit a museum after closing time, dine in a hôtel particulier and spend a day in the city's ateliers where the Maisons concerned agree to open their doors. Geneva lies just over three hours away by TGV Lyria, which lets a Swiss team reach Paris by train. Our event production studio in Paris page lists the venues.
What we handle, door to door
You decide who travels, for how long and what the trip should say about the Maison. We produce the programme and coordinate everything around it.
- Transport: train first, coaches and private cars for transfers, flights when the distance requires them, booked by our licensed travel partner, which we coordinate.
- Hotels chosen with you and booked by the same partner, rooms allocated by your list, welcome on arrival.
- Venues and activities, booked and timed, with a rain plan for each outdoor moment.
- Evenings: dinners, performances, a gala on the last night if you wish, described on our gala dinner planner page.
- Guests: invitations, registrations, protocol, a person on site to answer your guests' questions.
- Permits, security and insurance for the group and the events.
One project lead holds the programme, the budget and the planning from the first call to the last transfer.
Our standards, from brief to debrief
- Brief: who travels, when, for how long, and what the Maison wants them to remember.
- Feasibility and costing: site visits, programme day by day, itemised budget with the cost per guest.
- Preparation and delivery: bookings, suppliers, permits, guest communication, on-site running.
- Wrap-up: budget closed, feedback from guests and teams, archives handed to the Maison.
For a group of a few dozen, a single lead holds project, production and logistics. For a larger group spread across several hotels, a full team works for you, each part with its lead and one voice for the Maison. We apply the principles of ISO 20121: the train for groups and crews, the plane as a last resort, local suppliers and a CSR section in the estimate.
Responsibility begins with the design, the costing and the schedule.
Confidentiality
The names of your guests stay with the few people who need them. We sign a non-disclosure agreement before anyone on our side sees the project, and images of the trip leave our hands only with your written consent.
Frequently asked questions
Can an incentive trip include working sessions?
Yes. A morning of presentations or a meeting with the leadership can open the trip before the programme turns to pleasure. For a trip built around work, our corporate event production studio page covers seminars and executive retreats.
How many guests can travel on an incentive trip?
From a few dozen guests in a single hotel to larger groups spread across several hotels, for whom we book venues in full for the evenings. We propose a programme and a budget per guest once we know the number and the dates.
Can the trip combine Geneva and the Alps?
Yes. The trip can open in Geneva, then go up by train to Gstaad, Crans-Montana or St Moritz, and the Glacier Express links Zermatt and St Moritz in a single day.
Do you organise incentive travel to Dubai?
Yes, from November to March, when evenings outdoors are pleasant. The programme can combine galleries, the sea, the desert and a gala dinner. We check the dates of Ramadan with you, since they move each year and change the rhythm of the days.
How do guests travel?
By train wherever the network allows, in Switzerland and between Geneva and Paris. Coaches and private cars cover transfers, and flights cover long distances such as Dubai. Our travel partner reserves the seats, and we arrange the luggage so guests travel light.
How is the budget for a trip built?
Line by line and per guest: transport, hotels, venues, activities, evenings, staff, insurance. You can compare the cost per guest of each option, and we update the total as the programme takes shape.
