High jewellery at Place Vendôme: presentations and client dinners in Paris
Swiss watch and jewellery Maisons, and the Maisons coming to Paris, call on Luxury by the Lake, an event production studio, when they present high jewellery around Place Vendôme, launch a piece or host their clients. Fragrance and beauty Maisons, wine and spirits Maisons and others presenting or hosting in Paris work with us too. Place Vendôme and the Paris calendar
Paris works by the week. In July, the jewellers of Place Vendôme present their high jewellery collections. In October, Art Basel Paris fills the Grand Palais.
During those weeks, salons, hotels, caterers and crews book up early. We check the city calendar with you before you commit, so that your presentation and your dinner stand clear of the evenings your guests are already promised to. For dates and practical information, the Paris tourist office publishes the city calendar.
In Paris, the formats Maisons call on us for
- High jewellery presentations in a salon or a private apartment, with lighting designed for stones and metal, display cases and a secure route for the pieces, planned with the Maison and its usual providers.
- Launches of a watch, a jewel or a fragrance, with a press preview by day and a client dinner at night. The steps are on our product launch event page.
- Seated dinners for your clients in a hôtel particulier or a museum, covered on our gala dinner planner page.
- Presentations and client evenings for fragrance and beauty Maisons, and tastings for wine and spirits Maisons, with the set built to the drawings of your studio.
- Boutique openings, pop-up stores and window displays on Place Vendôme, the avenue Montaigne or the rue du Faubourg-Saint-Honoré.
- Exhibitions of savoir-faire, shown once or brought from Geneva as one stop of a tour.
Venues: from Place Vendôme to the Grand Palais
Paris offers a Maison a room for each scale.
- Salons and private apartments close to Place Vendôme, for a presentation to a few clients at a time.
- The hôtels particuliers of the 7th and 8th arrondissements, several of them rented for private dinners and presentations, among them the Hôtel Salomon de Rothschild.
- The Hôtel de la Marine on the Place de la Concorde, whose salons open for private events.
- The Musée des Arts Décoratifs, in the Louvre's wing on the rue de Rivoli, for an evening among its collections.
- The Monnaie de Paris on the Quai de Conti, and the Palais Brongniart, the former stock exchange, for a launch with several hundred guests.
- The Grand Palais, reopened in 2025, for the largest set-ups.
For an event that uses the street, the pavement or a façade, we file the authorisations with the City of Paris and the Préfecture de police during the preparation phase, alongside the venue's own rules.
From Geneva to Paris: sets, display cases and crews
For a Swiss Maison, Paris lies just over three hours from Geneva by TGV Lyria, which suits your teams and our crews. Sets and display cases travel by road from our Geneva warehouses, under supervision and with a joint inventory at departure and on arrival. A set built for a launch in Geneva can serve again in Paris a few weeks later, adapted to the new venue: the same design serves twice, and the second city costs less.
The budget follows the project, line by line.
Our standards in Paris, from brief to debrief
- Brief: we listen and send back our understanding of the project in writing.
- Feasibility and costing: site visit, technical plan, itemised budget.
- Preparation and delivery: suppliers, authorisations, build, show control.
- Wrap-up: budget closed, feedback gathered, archives handed to the Maison.
A launch spread over several venues calls for the full team, with a lead for project, creative, production and operations, and one voice for the Maison. A high jewellery presentation in a private apartment needs one lead, who runs the project, the production and the technical side. We apply the principles of ISO 20121 to each project, and each estimate carries a CSR section.
Confidentiality
Before anyone on our side sees a drawing, a piece or a guest list, we sign your non-disclosure agreement. In the busiest weeks Paris is full of cameras, and images of a build or an event leave our hands only with your written consent. Sets and display cases stay under supervision, with joint inventories and locked premises. The work we produce for a Maison belongs to the Maison, which decides in writing what may be shown or said.
Frequently asked questions
Do you have a production team in Paris?
Yes, a production team based in Paris. Your project keeps one point of contact, whether we produce it in Paris, Geneva or Dubai, and the Geneva warehouses of Pelichet Expositions store your sets between seasons.
When should a Maison book a venue for the July high jewellery presentations?
As soon as your date is fixed. The jewellers of Place Vendôme present their high jewellery collections in July, so salons, caterers and crews are in demand, and your guests will have other invitations for the same evenings. We scout with you, check the calendar, then send a technical plan and an itemised budget.
Which venues suit a high jewellery presentation near Place Vendôme?
A salon in a hôtel particulier, a private apartment, a museum room after hours or a hotel suite close to the square. The venue needs controlled light, space for display cases, a secure route for the pieces, planned with you and your usual providers, and a quiet room for private viewings. We check each point during the site visit.
Do you work with Maisons outside watches and jewellery?
Yes. Fragrance and beauty Maisons, wine and spirits Maisons and other Maisons presenting or hosting in Paris call on us for launches, presentations, tastings and client dinners, with the same four steps and one point of contact.
Can a set built in Geneva travel to Paris?
Yes. Sets designed for several lives travel by road from our Geneva warehouses and adapt to the new venue. Reuse is one of the principles we apply from the drawing stage, and it lowers the cost of the second city.
Do you handle authorisations in Paris?
Yes. We file the authorisations needed with the venue, the City of Paris and the Préfecture de police when the event uses the street or a façade, and we plan deliveries around the access rules of each district.
What if a change moves the budget?
You hear it from us before you commit. The budget comes line by line after the site visit and the technical plan, and any change of venue, set or guest count reaches you with its cost.
